General Election:

Amun Taraqqi Party (ATP) chairman Muhammad Faiq Shah urged the Election Commission of Pakistan to take steps on an equitable basis to present political parties their manifesto and program in an efficient manner.
Furthermore, he emphasized the removal of use of money in elections to pave the way for leadership of people and ordinary citizens to contest the election.
He firmly said his party will field candidates and contest elections under a public manifesto.
Mr Shah was responding to various direct queries of the general public during which central secretary information Awais Khan, Mansoor Chouhan, Waseem Dar, Alamzeb Khan, Ishtiaq Elahi and other office bearers were present, said in a press release here on Monday.
To a question regarding barbarism and atrocities against innocent children, women and people of Palestine, the party chief urged the forces of Islamic world that they should give a beneficial response to Israel under a unified stance.
He asked world institutions to come forward on humanitarian grounds.
Condemning the terrorism incidents in Balochistan, Mianwali and DIKhan, Shah said a strategy should be evolved in close coordination with security forces to tackle the menace of terrorism and assured ATP is ready to cooperate in this regard, everyone should play a role in strengthening the state.
The ATP chief said that said economic downturn would weaken the state and institutions must think about it that defence is impossible without economic progress and prosperity.
The party leader said learn lesson from the destruction of the Soviet Union, saying that politicians and the establishment never played a fair role and disintegration of East Pakistan because of bigotry of rulers and consequential of flopped establishment policies.
He said industries were destroyed from nationalization, while no progress was gained in education, health and justice.
If youths were considered a major source of development so today, the situation of the country, it wouldn’t be, he asserted.
