The heirs of the deceased staged a protest in Doaba Bazaar against the alleged killing of a civilian during a night police raid in Karbugha Sharif area of Hangu Doaba. Son killed. According to his father, my son was innocent. There was no complaint against him. No FIR has been killed by the police. During the protest, hundreds of people from Doaba and UC Karbugha Sharif blocked the main road from Doaba to Hangu to Tal Hangu, Kurram District and Kohat, which remained closed for six consecutive hours.
District Police Officer Hangu Ikramullah Khan, while stating his position, said that at night, There was a report of arms smuggling from Sharif. Police went to the spot and took action. The smugglers started firing. Police also opened fire in Salaf Defense. As a result, a man Saifuddin son of Haji Roman was arrested with arms. DPO Ikramullah Khan said that the position of the heirs of the deceased will be heard for which JIT has been formed under the leadership of SP Investigation Arshad.
During successful negotiations with Jinan SP Investigation Arshad Mehmood, SDPO Tal Saadat Khan and SHO Noor Mohammad, a formal FIR was registered against the police party at Doaba police station, after which the heirs of the deceased and the protesters An hour later, the protest was called off and the body was shifted to Doaba Hospital for postmortem.
