Farewell ceremony held in honor of ATS instructor Inspector Muhammad Akmal

ISLAMABAD: A farewell ceremony was held in honor of Anti-Terrorist Squad instructor Inspector Muhammad Akmal at Police Lines Headquarters Islamabad, a public relations officer said. He said that, CPO/ Commandant Capital Police College Shakir Hussain Dawar graced the occasion as chief guest, while senior police officers and officials were also present on the occasion. The CPO/Commandant Capital Police College conveyed good wishes from Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan to the retiring Inspector and said that retirement is part of the service as the one who joins the service has to retire one day. He asked the serving police officials to do their best to earn respect for the department. He was of the view that public servants can earn a good name by serving the citizens with devotion and dedication. He recognized the services rendered by Inspector Muhammad Akmal and added that the officer served at various posts in different divisions of Islamabad Capital Police and always accomplished his tasks in a responsible manner and ensured effective working. His contribution in the success story of Islamabad Capital police would be remembered, CPO Law and Order added. At the end, he presented a police shield to Inspector Muhammad Akmal and also expressed best wishes for his future endeavors. Inspector Muhammad Akmal joined Islamabad Capital Police as constable and earned the rank of Inspector through completion of different departmental courses and dedication for the work. He also served in Anti Terrorist Squad with good record. Under his supervision the Islamabad Capital Police won four times “All Pakistan Police Shuhada Memorial Shooting Competition” , he also got gold medal in VVIP protection course in USA. DNA
