Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has decided to take strict action against defaulters of sales tax and FBR preparing lists of Industrial Units.
After the directions of FBR authorities the concerned employees of all Regional Tax Offices has started secrutiny of tax returns.
It is learnt that the FBR has formed teams while teams will take action Industrial Units an Factories which Industrial Units and Factories have not filed tax returns during first 6 Months of fiscal financial Year 2019-20.
A spokesman of FBR told this Reporter that FBR has allowed all Regional Tax Office in the country that that Stern action against Industrial Units and Factories who were defaulters of sales tax. However Regional Tax Office Sialkot, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Lahore, Jehlum, Mandi Bahawal Din, Gujrat, Narowal, Rawalpindi, Karachi, Hyderabad, Quetta, Multan and others have started the action against defaulters of sales tax Industrial Units and Factories under FBR act.
The people have hailed the decision of FBR and said that it is appreciable step of FBR whereas the collection of sales tax from defaulters is very important matter.
