Islamabad: FIA Anti Corruption Circle Islamabad registered an FIR against Islamabad Police’s Inspector on the allegations of corruption. Inspector Mansoor Ahmed of Islamabad Police with active connivance of private person Raja Muhammad Munir extorted an amount of Rs 2,500,000-/ from the complainant while investigating Case FIR 129/2022 of Police Station Nilore Islamabad. Kashif Riaz Awan SI FIA ACC registered an FIR in FIA ACC Islamabad u/s 109, 161 PPC r/w 5(2) 47 PCA while Ihtesham Gondal SI FIA ACC will investigate the case. The accused namely Inspector Muneer of Islamabad Police is arrested by Ihtesham Gondal SI FIA ACC and will be produced in the court of Illaqa Magistrate Islamabad tomorrow. Online
