ISLAMABAD: FIA has summoned former speaker National Assembly (NA) Asad Qaisar in connection with probe into prohibited funding case. As per media report FIA Peshawar inquiry officer has issued notice to Asad Qaisar to appear in FIA KP office on August 11. The notice said that as per Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) decision he holds two bank accounts and he is associated with opening and running two bank accounts. Therefore, he should appear before inquiry team in person and give reply to the questions regarding bank accounts. It may be mentioned that FIA has started investigation from PTI leaders and office employees following ECP decision about prohibited funding case. Online
