Food minister inspects wheat warehouse in Buner

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Food Minister Zahir Shah accompanied by Abdul Kabir Khan, a Member of the Provincial Assembly and Chairman of the District Education Development Committee (DEDC), visited the government wheat warehouse in Buner district. During this visit, the Deputy Commissioner and District Food Controller briefed the provincial minister on the wheat stock stored at the facility. While inspecting the wheat’s quality and storage conditions, Zahir Shah Toro emphasized the importance of strict monitoring to prevent any negligence. He made it clear that any lapse in duty by the concerned officers would result in stringent legal actions. In addition to the warehouse inspection, the provincial minister also attended an open court session aimed at addressing public grievances. Citizens present voiced their concerns regarding the food department, and Zahir Shah Toro took immediate action by issuing on-the-spot orders to resolve several issues. Addressing the attendees, the minister reiterated that the timely resolution of public problems is a top priority for the provincial government.
