Former senator Taj Muhammad AfrIdi laid to rest aimed tearful farewell

Ex-senator and renowned businessman and a social worker Taj Muhammad Afridi was laid to rest in his ancestral graveyard at Takhta Baig on Saturday morning aimed scenes of grief and sorrow as thousands of mourners gathered to pay their last respect to their beloved leader.
It is to be stated here that the Former Senator passed away on Friday in a fatal traffic mishap at motorway (M-1) near Corneal Sher Khan Interchange when he was returning from Islamabad to Peshawar.
Besides Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi, Engineer Amir Muqam, former Governors KP Shaukatullah, Glulam Ali, Member National Assembly Iqbal Afridi,Ex-sanetor Pir Abdul Malik the funeral prayer was attended by large number of politicians, tribal elders, bossiness figures social activists and people from different walks of life.
The sudden death of the former Senator Taj Muhammad Afridi was widely mourned across the Khyber and beyond and the news sent shockwaves through political and social circles, with leaders from various parties expressing condolences and paying tributes to his services.
Speakers at the funeral remembered him as a committed public representative who worked tirelessly for the development of Khyber and the welfare of the local communities.
The late senator was laid to rest in his ancestral graveyard where emotional scenes were witnessed as relatives, friends, and supporters offered prayers for the departed soul.
Beside a senator Taj Muhmmad also remained as provincial minister of relief in the caretaker government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He is the younger brother of ex-MNA Haji Shah Gul Afridi and uncle of former provincial assembly members Shafiq Sher and Bilwal Afridi.
Taj Muhammad passing leaves behind a legacy of public service and leadership that will be remembered in Khyber and across the country, his supporters said.
