PESHAWAR: Police have arrested four persons and recovered arms and weapons from them, officials said on Monday. A team under the DSP Suburb Ihsan Shah along with personnel of the Agha Mir Jani Shah Police Station stopped a vehicle and questioned the occupants. During search, the policemen recovered three Kalashnikoves, one pistol and bullets of various bores. They also arrested Tilawat, Amierzeb, Haider Ali and Zahid Ali. The police said they have registered the case against the arrested men and started further investigation. It may be mentioned here that the police have started raids and road blockades in various parts of the city to nab the outlaws and anti-social elements. Besides the fresh arrests, several more people have been arrested with arms and ammunition from various parts of Peshawar in recent weeks. Haqnawaz Shinwari
