At least four police officials sustained bullets injuries when unknown armed persons attacked on Qimat khan police checkpoint, Serkai Kamar, Bar-Qamber Khel tehsil Bara district Khyber on Saturday night.
Police official said that in the wee hours of Sunday unknown armed men waged an assault at the police check post and during firing four police personnel got wounded however in retaliation the attackers successfully managed to flee from the site.
Immediately after an event, the police reinforcements led by Station House Officer(SHO)Akbar Afridi rushed to the spot, cordoned off the area and shifted the injured to the nearest hospital for medical treatment.
The wounded were identified as Shafiullah, Naseem Khan,Khayal Zar and Zarman Gul Afridi.
