SSP Operations Haroon Rashid Khan visited Machni Gate Police Station and inspected the site where the unidentified armed men threw grenades last night.
During the visit, SSP Operations Peshawar reviewed in detail all the security arrangements and the situation in view of the current situation, while SP Warsak Arshad Khan gave a detailed briefing regarding the incident that took place last night and the measures taken for security.
DSP Varsik Muhammad Ishaq Khan and SHO Machni Gate Rafiq Khan were also present with him.
Haroon Rashid Khan also inspected the monitoring of CCTV cameras and others.
He said that police morale is higher than before and no one would be allowed to disturb law and order situation of the provincial metropolis.
Mr Khan also issued special instructions to quarter concerned and directed them to ensure the use of helmets and bulletproof vests along with other necessary arrangements at night while keeping police officers and jawans alert and vigilant.
