ISPR says, two miscreants were killed in exchange of fire

Four Pakistan Army soldiers were martyred in Dir and North Waziristan on Saturday when terrorists opened fire on them from across the Pak-Afghan border.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the incident happened when the soldiers were on regular duty patrolling the Abba Khel, Spinwam area late last night near the Pak-Afghan border.
The martyred included Sepoy Akhtar Hussain, 23, a resident of Baltistan.
The media’s military wing added in exchange of fire, two miscreants were killed.
In a separate incident on the Pak-Afghan Border in Dir, three soldiers embraced martyrdom while one was wounded when a suspected terrorist opened fire.
The martyred include Lance Naik Said Amin Afridi, 28, a resident of Khyber, Lance Naik Muhammad Shoaib Swati, 31, who hailed from Mansehra and Sepoy Kashif Ali, 22, a resident of Nowshera.
Soldier martyred in ‘unprovoked firing’ by Indian forces along LoC
A Pakistan Army soldier was martyred after Indian troops resorted to “unprovoked firing” from across the Line of Control (LoC) in Hajipir sector of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Saturday.
The soldier was identified by the military’s media wing as 33-year-old Havaldar Nasir Hussain, a resident of Narowal, who had been in service for 16 years.
Pakistan reprimands ICA over LoC fire
The Director General (SA & SAARC), Dr. Mohammad Faisal, summoned the Indian Charge de Affaires (ICA), Mr. Gaurav Ahluwalia, on Saturday and condemned the unprovoked ceasefire violations by the Indian occupation forces along the Line of Control (LoC).
In the most recent ceasefire violations by the Indian forces on Saturday in Nikial and Jandrot Sectors of the LoC, targeting innocent civilians, an innocent woman Fatyana, 40 years old, resident of Village Balakot, embraced shahadat while eight others, including women sustained serious injuries.
The Indian occupation forces along the LoC and Working boundary have continuously been targeting civilian populated areas with artillery fire, heavy-caliber mortars, and automatic weapons, which still continues.
This unprecedented escalation in ceasefire violations by India is continuing from the year 2017 when the Indian forces committed 1970 ceasefire violations.
The deliberate targeting of civilian populated areas is indeed deplorable and contrary to human dignity, international human rights and humanitarian laws. The ceasefire violations by India are a threat to regional peace and security and may lead to a strategic miscalculation.
The Director General (SA & SAARC) urged the Indian side to respect the 2003 Ceasefire arrangement; investigate these and other incidents of ceasefire violations; instruct the Indian forces to respect the ceasefire, in letter and spirit and maintain peace on the LoC and the Working Boundary.
He urged that the Indian side should permit UNMOGIP to play its mandated role as per the UN Security Council resolutions.
