Lahore : A delegation of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry, in the lead of its Regional Chairman Dr. Mohammad Arshad held a meeting with Punjab governor Ch Sarwar here at Punjab Governor’s House to apprise him about the issues of the business community.
Besides the regional chairman, the delegation was included FPCCI vice president Juma Khan, LCCI ex-president Muhammad Ali Mian, Chaghi Chamber president Mir Akbar Mangal, Quetta chamber former president Dr. Irshad, Sher Baz Khan, Syed Taimoor, Malik Ishaq and several other member of the FPCCI.
Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar, on this occasion, assured the FPCCI to resolve their all issues, as the government is working on a comprehensive plan to address grievances of business community. He said that the government is also very much concerned about the trouble faced by the business community due to hike in cost of doing business. He said that the government is engaged with the business community on the all trade-related matters through consultation.
He appreciated the FPCCI for helping the unprivileged people of society during the difficult time created by the lockdown imposed to contain the spread of coronavirus.
Governor said that the government had announced the biggest relief package in the history of the country which would help the poor segment of the society in this difficult time. The governor added that the government has announced relaxation for the construction industry, which will boost the economy.
