DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur on Tuesday performed the groundbreaking of the University of Agriculture Dera Ismail Khan (UAD) building, marking a significant milestone in the university’s development and long-awaited infrastructure. The university has been functioning for several years without its own dedicated campus, resulting in limited facilities for students. Addressing this longstanding issue, Gandapur announced the allocation of 400 kanals of land for the university’s new building and provided millions of rupees in development funds to strengthen the institution. He also handed over buses, coasters, and other vehicles to enhance transportation for students and faculty.
UAD Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Shakeebullah expressed his gratitude and paid tribute to Gandapur for his support, stating that the university community highly values these contributions.
