In a significant operation, Hayatabad Circle Police, in collaboration with the ladies police, arrested a gang involved in a major house theft.
The suspects were apprehended, and 23 tolas of stolen gold along with artificial jewelry were recovered.
Taking strict notice of the theft of precious gold jewelry worth millions of rupees, SP Cantt Division Aitzaz Arif directed an immediate investigation.
Under the supervision of DSP Hayatabad Circle Muhammad Ashfaq Khan, SHO Tatara Police Station Cadet Qamar Shehzad and SHO Hayatabad Police Station Tariq Khan, along with ladies police and inspection officers, successfully traced and arrested the culprits involved in the theft.
The investigation revealed that the housemaid, orchestrated the theft with her parents’ assistance.
Exploiting the absence of the homeowners, the accused stole valuable gold jewelry.
Upon further inquiry, her parents, Usman alias Shafiq and wife of Usman were also found complicit and were arrested with the help of the ladies police.
Following the operation, 23 tolas of stolen gold and artificial jewelry were successfully recovered. The arrested women suspects have been transferred to the Women Police Station for further investigation.
