The constitution of Landikotal Press Club was Unanimously approved in a General Body(GB) meeting held here on Sunday.
The meeting was attended by 35 members out of 37 members of Landikotal press club. The meeting was chaired by Akmal Khan Qadri, the chairman of the constitution committee.
During the meeting different Articles and clause of the constitution’s draft were discussed and amended.
While speaking on the occasion, Journalists said the approval of the new constitution of the Landikotal Press Club with an overwhelming majority was a landmark achievement.
Press club’s President Mehrab Afridi and General secretary, Umar Afridi and senior journalist Ashrafuddin Pirzada also addressed the meeting.
The speakers said they were happy that the split between journalists had ended and now they were united for the first time and they would work for the uplift of the community.
