The Landikotal Press Club (Registered) on Sunday called general body meeting and collectively approved membership of the seven new member. The meeting was attended by all members including Tribal Union of Journalists ex-Fata(meeged fistricts). During the meeting a three-point agenda was unanimously approved. The agenda included an audit of the 2024 cabinet, the formation of an election committee and granting memberships to new weight eligible members.
In the meeting, the toutgoing president Shah Rehman Shinwari and his cabinet presented the agenda, which was met with unanimous agreement from members. Several new comers, including Saim Afridi, Khan Zeb Shinwari, Imran Khan Khattak, Ajmir Khan Shinwari, Mansoor Khan Shinwari and Raheem Afridi were granted memberships.
The general body members also restored the Jawad Shinwari’s membership who was suspended for reasons.
The outgoing cabinet constituted election committee comprised by Ashrafuddin Pirzada as the Chairman. Akmal Qadri, Abu Zar Afridi and Shahid Afridi were named as committee members.
Meanwhil, the election committee held meeting and pledged to conduct transparent and fair elections. Chairman Ashrafuddin Pirzada emphasized the importance of collective efforts for the broader interests of the press club and vowed to uphold its integrity.The election Committee issued motofication of election to be held on December 25.
The new members were warmly welcomed and urged to work for the welfare of citizens and pres Club.
