Kundi eyes jobs opportunities for people in CPEC projects
PESHAWAR
Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi has said that China Pakistan Economic Corridor is a multifaceted mega project that would impact overall progress and advancement of the region.
He was addressing an international conference on titled CPEC and Future of Humanity in Islamabad, said a release issued from Governor House Peshawar on Wednesday. He termed CPEC a game changer and said that it would lead the whole region on a new course of development and prosperity.
Highlighting the role of President, Asif Ali Zardari relating to CPEC, he said that positive changes have been witnessed in overall economic scenario of the country by CPEC. He said that completion of the project would revolutionize industrial sector besides creating new opportunities of growth for people.
KP Governor said that lives of millions of people could be transformed by utilizing technological experience of China adding the mega project is a proof of time tested and ever growing friendship between China and Pakistan.
The conference was also addressed by Chinese Ambassador, Jiang Zaidong, Awais Ali Khokhar and Mufti Naeem Rehmat Naeemi.
Governor KP expresses sorrow over clash in Waziristan
Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Wednesday expressed grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of three security forces personnel during exchange of fire between security forces and terrorists in South Waziristan.
The Governor expressed his heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the families of the martyred jawans residents of DI Khan, Matiari and Bahawalnagar districts.
The Governor prayed for high ranks in Paradise Jannat. Faisal Karim Kundi appreciates the sacrifices of the security forces for the establishment of peace. He said that martyrs are our pride and equal share in the grief of the families of the martyrs.
