Government has empowered PML-Q chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain to decide with regard to Chaudhry Pervez Elahi.
PML-Q has once again assumed importance in the fast evolving political situation in Punjab.
The coming 48 hours are being dubbed the most important in the political landscape of the largest province of Punjab.
Government sources have claimed that Asif Ali Zardari and Shahbaz Sharif have delegated all the powers to Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain with regard to decision about Chaudhry Pervez Elahi.
The motion of no confidence will not be submitted in Punjab Assembly till the reply from Chaudhry Shujaat is received.
The decision to retain Chaudhry Pervez ElahI as Chief Minister Punjab has also been postponed till the report of Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain.
Sources further told Online Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has started consultation with Chaudhry Pervez Elahi and other family members on all the situation besides seeking details that what PTI is giving to PML-Q.
On the other side Shahbaz Sharif has reached Islamabad. He will make consultations with all allied parties on the entire matter.
The sources said a meeting between Shahbaz Sharif and Maulana Fazlur Rehman is also likely to take place.
