Govt to launch “KP Super App” to provide govt services to public

Minister for Science and Technology Muhammad Atif Khan said on Tuesday that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government was taking pragmatic steps toward digital transformation and decided to launch “KP Super App” to provide government services and other information to the public.
He made this announcement while presiding over a special meeting held to discuss the process and launching of “KP Super App” for efficient service delivery system in the province.
The meeting was attended by Secretary of Science and Information Technology department Matiullah Khan, Managing Director Khyber Pakhtunkhwa IT Board and other relevant officials.
Atif Khan said that all necessary preparations have been finalized to launch first of its App through which citizens will be able to easily access all the government departments services and other relevant information of the province by creating their accounts.
The provincial minister was briefed about the various features and functions of the app.
On this occasion, the members of the meeting were briefed that the work on the app has been completed with the help of which the citizens at the provincial level will be able to create their accounts through a single app.
The students of different government colleges and universities will be able to deposit their college fees and various other types of payments with the help of the “KP Super App”.
To access the services of all the departments of the province, citizens will get all the services through one account in KP Super App instead of separate apps, he added.
The provincial minister said that the digitization of the system will not only ensure transparency but also get rid of tactics like delaying the delivery of services to the public.
