Islamabad: A major crackdown has been launched against illegal foreign nationals in Islamabad, with grand search operations conducted in Sangjani, Bari Imam, Barakahu, and Shahzad Town areas. The operations were carried out jointly by the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) and Islamabad Police based on intelligence reports. A total of 386 Afghan nationals were arrested, and cases have been registered under Section 14 of the Foreigners Act. Additionally, 25 Afghan nationals were apprehended from the posh F-7 sector of Islamabad. All the arrested individuals were reportedly residing illegally in the federal capital. Online
