relief of Rs 4.69 per unit
ISLAMABAD: Hearing of application filed by K-Electric in NEPRA in connection with relief under FCA has been adjourned for one week. K-Electric has sought reduction in tariff by Rs 4.69 per unit for the month of April. At the inception of hearing power division requested for adjourning the hearing. According to power division authorities a review petition regarding K-Electric was filed. Tariff will not remain uniform due to relief in FCA application. Government has already given subsidy under the head of FCA. The authorities said we are in IMF program. Such steps will create difficulties. Attempt will be made to create a fiscal space for adjustment. NEPRA said hearing will be fixed on next week. All stake holders should file their comments. Online
