Shaheed package of ten million rupees each was granted to the heirs of two late police officials, here in police line, Shahkas, subdivision Jamrud on Wednesday who had embraced martyrdom while executing their official duties.
The police official said that District Police Officer (DPO) Khyber Muhammad Imran gave away cheques of ten million rupees to each of the family members of the late constable Kaleemullah and Abdul Latif Khan.
Both the police officials laid down their lives in the line of duties.
Speaking on the occasion DPO said that the Martyred police personnel are the pride of the police department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and it will never forget the affected families and it is their priority to extend every possible assistance to them.
A few rupees cannot be an alternative of a human life but can ease miseries of relatives of the late being faced by them, he added and said the door of my office is opened for the heirs of the martyred police officials if they need any kind of help
The district police highup sympathized with the children of the late police and later on transported them to their residencies with honor and respect.
