PESHAWAR
Over the course of the Eid holidays, Hayatabad Medical Complex (HMC) Peshawar has responded to more than 6000 emergency patients, said a handout.
The hospital authorities said that during the Eid holidays HMC provided treatment for 91 Road Traffic Accidents (RTAs), 23 firearm injuries, and five minor injuries. Diagnostics and therapeutic facilities including X-rays, Ultrasound, CT scans, laboratory, operation theatres, wards, and Intensive Care Units (ICUs) worked round the clock to cater to patient needs.
“Patients and attendants have been all praised for the services extended at MTI-HMC some of which are unique to this institution only. Innumerable precious lives have been saved through the demonstration of the high level of professionalism and organization that has become a trademark of this institution over the recent years”, said Medical Director Professor Dr Shahzad Akbar.
The Hospital Director Dr Shahzad Faisal expresses that as the nation celebrates Eid, rejoicing much-awaited holidays, staff at HMC Peshawar including doctors, nurses, paramedical, technical, and administrative personnel deserve special applaud for working tirelessly and efficiently attending to an unprecedented number of patients with various ailments. He also expressed gratitude to the general public for cooperating and working together with the hospital staff, boosting their morale.
