ISLAMABAD: Minister of State and SAPM Huzaifa Rehman on Wednesday said that PML-N has convinced its allied party PPP to support key constitutional and financial reforms, including the 18th Amendment, stressing that dialogue is essential and differences of opinion are a natural part of democratic governance.
In an interview with a private news channel, Rehman stated that the PPP remains a key allied partner, emphasizing that the unity between the two parties will continue. He confirmed that the PPP has been convinced to support both the NFC Award and the 18th Amendment, noting that this collaboration will further strengthen the federal government and its institutions. Huzaifa Rehman added that, regardless of which political party may come to power in the future, the federal government will continue to uphold the rights of defence personnel and pensioners. He stressed that this political consensus is crucial for Pakistan’s future, particularly in terms of economic stability and growth, and will provide tangible benefits to the country’s economy.
