ISLAMABAD
President of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI), Sardar Tahir Mehmood, has reaffirmed his commitment to safeguarding the interests of the business community and promoting policies that foster a business-friendly environment, enabling Islamabad to emerge as a vibrant business hub for both local entrepreneurs and overseas investors.
He expressed these views while addressing a large delegation of the Traders Welfare Association (TWA) Multi Markaz E-11, which visited the Chamber under the leadership of its President, Zahir Mehmood Abbasi, said a release issued by ICCI on Tuesday.
Sardar Tahir Mehmood emphasized that the strength of the Chamber lies in the active participation of the business community. He urged traders to register themselves as members of ICCI, stating that a broader membership base would further empower the Chamber to effectively highlight and resolve the issues faced by traders. He assured the delegation that the problems being faced by traders in E-11 Markaz would be taken up with the relevant authorities, including the Capital Development Authority (CDA), and resolved on a priority basis.
Speaking on the occasion, President Traders Welfare Association (TWA) Multi Markaz E-11 Zahir Mehmood Abbasi appreciated the Chamber’s leadership for maintaining close coordination with the traders’ community. He reiterated the association’s collective commitment to stand with the Founder Group in recognition of its consistent efforts and dedicated services for the business community.
President All Pakistan Anjuman-e-Tajraan, Ajmal Baloch, stressed that the business community should always prioritize Pakistan while making investments, emphasizing that a strong and prosperous Pakistan must remain the foremost priority of every Pakistani.
