ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police on Monday organised an anti-narcotics awareness walk, bringing together students from leading universities and colleges under its ongoing campaign Nasha Ab Nahi, aimed at curbing drug abuse and promoting a drug-free learning environment across the federal capital. A police spokesperson told media on Monday that the awareness walk was held on the special instructions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, who has directed both intensified enforcement operations and community-focused initiatives to keep educational institutions safe from drugs. Students from Bahria University, Air University, and other educational institutions participated in large numbers, along with SP City Dr. Ayaz Hussain, SP Industrial Area Khalid Mehmood Awan, Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) President Sardar Tahir Mehmood, civil society representatives, Friends of Police, and local residents.
