Islamabad : Islamabad High Court (IHC) has declared non maintainable a plea requesting the court to prevent Barrister Ali Zafar from doing his work who is investigating Jahangir Tareen matter.

Chief Justice IHC Athar Minallah while expressing his annoyance remarked the matter does not fall in our jurisdiction. Even then if the habitual petitioners file such petitions then what will happen with the general petitioners?

Deputy Attorney General (DAG) Syed Tayyab Shah said the petitioner is not affected party to this case. An irrelevant person cannot even file petition in criminal cases.

The CJ IHC inquired from DAG should the court hear such petitions.

DAG replied the petitions from such irrelevant petitioners should not be heard.

The CJ IHC remarked the people waste the time of the courts by filing such petitions. The pending cases of common petitioners are also affected in IHC.
