The Islamabad High Court, in separate verdicts, has declared the arrests of PTI leaders Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Ejaz Chaudhry, and former party member Maleeka Bokhari under the Maintenance of Public Order “illegal”.
The verdicts, issued by Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb, stated that “for detailed reasons to be recorded later, the instant writ petition is allowed”, as it set aside the district magistrate’s detention order “for not being compliant with the law
