IHC gives three days to police for recovery of Deputy Director NCCIA

Islamabad High Court (IHC) has given time of three days to police to recover deputy director NCCIA Muhammad Usman. The court has issued these orders on the petition filed against abduction of deputy director NCCIA Muhammad Usman.
The court remarked if the police failed to recover him within three days then Central Director NCCIA and IG Police Islamabad should appear before it in person. During the hearing of the case it was disclosed that petitioner Rozina Usman who is wife of abducted deputy director Muhammad Usman has also gone missing.
Justice Muhammad Azam Khan of IHC took up for hearing petition filed by Rozina Usman wife of Muhammad Usman. Raja Rizwan Abbasi advocate appeared on behalf of Rozina Usman wife of Muhammad Usman.
However, during proceedings, it was revealed that Rozina Usman herself is now untraceable. Her lawyer informed the court that she had contacted him earlier, stating she was under pressure to withdraw the petition, and has since gone missing. Her phone has reportedly been switched off.
Raja Rizwan Abbasi said he does not know where is the petitioner. It is feared she may have been lifted. Petitioner told me by phone that she is being pressurized to withdraw the petition. Husband of the petitioner was working on important cases. He was abducted in a white corolla. Now petitioner phone is going off and he is having no contact with her.
The counsel requested that Director NCCIA and IG Islamabad be summoned. Police said it will be our endeavor to recover him till evening today. But it is requested to court to give time for seven days.
Raja Rizwan Abbasi said as per CCTV footage he was abducted in such a suspicious vehicle which was bearing fake number plate.
Justice Muhammad Azam Khan inquired if number plate is suspected then how it was running in Islamabad.
Justice Azam Khan remarked it is very serious matter. Barricades are erected in your city and CCTV cameras are also there. Recover him otherwise we will too start to do what other benches were doing.
He instructed the authorities to trace calls pressuring the petitioner via Call Detail Records (CDRs) and emphasised that the matter would not be taken lightly.
Assistant Attorney General (AAG) said case has been registered. It is requested some time be given to police for investigation.
Later the IHC while giving 3 days time to police for recovery of deputy director NCCIA Muhammad Usman adjourned the hearing of the case.
