ISLAMABAD : Islamabad High Court (IHC) has summoned report on shifting of bears and Kaavan elephant on next hearing in death of animals in Islamabad zoo case.
Athar Minallah, Chief Justice (CJ) IHC took up the case for hearing Thursday.
Deputy Attorney General (DAG) Tayyab Shah told the court approval has been accorded for shifting the bears abroad following the issuance of NOC.
He also filed implementation report in the court.
Counsel for the petitioner told the court one bear will be shifted to Jordan and second to Bulgaria.
The CJ IHC inquired from the counsel of the petitioner “what about Kaavan elephant.
The counsel replied team led by Dr Aamir which is deployed for taking care of Kaavan elephant in zoo will come on Sunday. The cage of kaavan elephant has been prepared which will be shifted to zoo.
The court while summoning report has adjourned the hearing of the case till November 27.
