IMF technical delegation has arrived Pakistan to discuss policies with the FBR for the sale of products.
Delegation will dialogue with FBR to tax policy to increase tax net and tax collections for a week; sources.
FBR and IMF technical delegation will take steps for amendments in the tax policy, the purpose of the amendments in the tax policy will be to widen the tax net and collect more revenue. Sources further said that the number of taxpayers will be increased to 60 lakhs by bringing 1 million more people into the tax net, the amendments that will be made in the tax policy along with the technical delegation will be implemented in the next budget.
