190 Million pounds case
ISLAMABAD
PTI founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi have filed petition in Islamabad High Court (IHC) for fixing their appeals for early hearing in 190 million pounds case. The petition has been allotted number. Khalid Yousuf Chaudhry filed petitions on behalf of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi in IHC whereby court has been requested to fix their appeal pleas for early hearing. The petitioners have taken plea in the petitions that there is request for early hearing because no progress was made on previous hearing.
The petitioner is former prime minister. His detention is a political vendetta.
According to petition punishment was announced on January 17 and it has not been heard so far which is strong justification for early appeal. There is threat of injustice due to delay. Preliminary hearing ensures justice. The justice should not only be done but should be seen to have been done. Early hearing is must for timely justice.
Diary number 7115/24 has been allotted to petition of PTI founder and diary number 7116/24 has been allotted to petition of Bushra Bibi.
