Islamabad: India defeated Pakistan by seven wickets in the Women’s Asia Cup 2026 after comfortably chasing a modest target of 56 runs. Pakistan were bowled out for just 55 runs, failing to build partnerships and withstand the Indian bowling attack. India achieved the target with the loss of three wickets. Harmanpreet Kaur and Deepti Sharma remained unbeaten on 12 runs each to guide their team to victory. Pakistan captain Fatima Sana put up a spirited bowling performance, claiming all three Indian wickets, but her efforts were not enough to prevent India from securing a comfortable seven-wicket victory.
