Pakistan has said India is involved in terrorism in Pakistan and Occupied Kashmir.
“India is involved in terrorism in Pakistan and Occupied Kashmir. International community should take notice of state brutalities and blatant violation of human rights in Occupied Kashmir by India”, this was said by Foreign Office (FO) spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch in weekly press briefing here Thursday.
She held international conference on climate change will be held in Geneva on January 09. It will be co-chaired by Prime Minister (PM) Shahbaz Sharif and UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres. Both the leaders will address joint press conference as well.
She went on to say the climate change and flood situation in Pakistan will come under discussion in the conference.
International leaders , international economic institutions and representatives of NGOs will also take part in the conference. On this occasion it is hoped that international community will help Pakistan.
Regarding Indian foreign minister provocative statements against Pakistan she said we slam the Indian leadership anti Pakistan statements and mudslinging.
She underlined India is involved in terrorism in Pakistan and Occupied Kashmir. Pakistan exchanged lists of nuclear facilities and prisoners with India on January 01.
International community should take notice of Indian brutalities and human rights violations in Occupied Kashmir. Last week four innocent Kashmiris were brutally murdered.
India was involved in custodial killing of 57 persons besides martyring 214 Kashmiris in Occupied Kashmir last year, she held.
She went on to say that as per available information over 4000 Kashmiris are languishing in jails at Occupied Kashmir and India.
Leaders like Musarrat Alam Bhatt, Yasin Malik, Asia Indrabi, Shabbir Shah and Khurram Shah are behind the bars in fake cases. The All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) leader Altaf Shah died during his detention in the notorious Tahar Jail.
In 2022 India deprived Kashmiris of religious freedom.
Pakistan will continue moral and diplomatic support to Kashmiris in their struggle for right to self-determination, she reiterated. She underlined Pakistan is grateful to international community for extending assistance for flood affectees in Pakistan. International community extended key cooperation in the form of cash and kind.
Geneva conference will be held in connection with reconstruction of flood hit areas in Pakistan, she added. It is hoped international community will provide full assistance to Pakistan. Reconstruction program will span several years.
Citing to Pakistan-US relations, she said talks continues with US on all important issues including economic matters. We are in contact with friendly countries and international financial institutions.
She said the visit of the Army Chief to the Kingdom is in the context of promoting Pakistan-Saudi Arabia relations and defense ties. Pakistan is responsible country of UN and supporter of independent Afghanistan.
