Indictment of PTI leader Azam Swati has been postponed in the cases related to controversial tweets against the institutions. Indictment of Azam Swati has been postponed in two cases pertaining to controversial tweets against the national security institutions.
Arguments could not take place during hearing of acquittal plea of Azam Swati before additional district and sessions judge Afzal Majoka.
Azam Swati said on the occasion “ I want to tell some thing in the court today. I am in Senate since 2003. It has always been my endeavor we should strengthen judiciary.
The court while directing lawyers of Azam Swati to give arguments on acquittal plea of Azam Swati on next hearing adjourned the hearing of the case till September 20.
PTI leader Azam Swati appeared in the court along with his counsels Murtaza Toori and Sohail Swati.
It is pertinent to mention two cases are registered against Azam Swati under PECA act.
