PESHAWAR
An injured police official has embraced martyrdom following sustaining bullet injury during a security operation in Lakki Marwat. Constable Saeed Khan was wounded during an operation conducted a day earlier and was shifted to the hospital for medical treatment, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Police confirmed that the martyred cop was under treatment at Khalifa Gul Nawaz Hospital, Bannu.
Constable Saeed Khan was performing duty as a gunman with the DSP Lakki at the time of the incident.
It is worth mentioning that the police operation was launched against terrorists after a bus explosion near a private cement factory in Lakki Marwat. During the operation, two terrorists were killed.
