Injured outlaw arrested during police encounter in Swabi

Police arrested an alleged drug dealer in injured condition after an exchange of fire and recovered weapons and narcotics from his possession.
Acting in intelligence based information that a suspicious individual carrying a pistol was waiting for someone, DSP Fazal Sher Khan, along with SHO Swabi Police Station Shehzad Khan and a police contingent, immediately reached the scene.
Upon seeing the police, the suspect opened fire on police party. Police retaliated by using a professional strategy, successfully overpowered and arrested the accused after an exchange of fire.
The injured suspect was identified as Ruhullah, son of Abdullah, a resident of Bachai, who is reportedly a notorious drug dealer.
Police recovered one pistol with ammunition from the suspect, along with 625 grams of charas hidden inside the cover of his motorcycle.
A case has been registered against the accused, and further investigation is underway. Police are also investigating his accomplices and possible drug network connections.
Swabi Police said that indiscriminate action against drug traffickers and criminal elements will continue without interruption.
