Vice Chancellor Iqra National University (INU), Dr. Malik Taimur Ali, received an appreciation award from the Hamza Foundation in recognition of INU’s support for humanitarian and welfare initiatives.
The award was presented following the successful organization of a blood donation camp at Iqra National University, Peshawar, arranged by the Hamza Foundation with the cooperation and support of Prof. Dr. Adil Adnan, Dean Faculty of Management & Social Sciences and Director INU Welfare Society, and Dr. Arshad Iqbal, Associate Professor, School of Business Administration & Social Sciences, and Deputy Director INU Welfare Society.
During the camp, 65 young and healthy student volunteers donated blood to help save precious lives of patients suffering from Thalassemia, Hemophilia, and other blood disorders. The donated blood will benefit 1,560 registered patients of the Hamza Foundation Welfare Thalassemia Center and Blood Transfusion Services, Peshawar.
Dr. Malik Taimur Ali appreciated the efforts of Hamza Foundation and the university faculty and students, stating that INU remains committed to promoting social responsibility, volunteerism, and community welfare initiatives. He encouraged students to actively participate in such life-saving activities for the betterment of society.
