Ishaq Dar Directs Pakistan’s Ambassador to UAE to Strengthen Bilateral Economic, Investment Ties

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Monday directed Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Ambassador Shafqat Ali Khan, to further strengthen bilateral cooperation with the UAE across all sectors, with a particular focus on economic and investment relations. During a meeting held in Islamabad, Ambassador Shafqat Ali Khan called on the Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister to discuss matters relating to Pakistan-UAE bilateral relations. Senator Ishaq Dar underscored the importance Pakistan attaches to its longstanding fraternal ties with the United Arab Emirates and instructed the ambassador to work towards enhancing economic and investment cooperation between the two countries.
