Islam Gymkhana and Nazimabad Gymkhana Blues moved into the final of the MM Baig Cricket Tournament Zone VII after sealing contrasting semifinal victories.
In the semi-final matches, Sheharyar Cricket Club and Shalimar Club faced defeat. In the first semi-final, Islam Gymkhana defeated Sheharyar Cricket Club by six wickets.Batting first Sheharyar Cricket Club scored 157 runs. Muhammad Amir scored 57 runs and Muhammad Usman scored 36 runs.
Muhammad Adil dismissed four players. In reply, Islam Gymkhana reached the finals with Munzeeb’s 35 runs, Asad’s 31 runs, Adil’s 21 runs and Azim’s 29 runs.
In the second semi-final, Nazimabad Gymkhana Blues beat Shalimar Cricket Club by 26 runs. batting first Nazimabad Gymkhana Blues scored 247 runs. Qadir Khan scored 74 runs, Kashif Khan 38 runs and Zainul Haq scored 43 runs. In reply, Shalimar Cricket Club was bowled out for 221 runs. Muhammad Sami scored 58 runs, Shahzar Hassan scored 47 runs and Asim Khan scored 45 runs.
