PESHAWAR: An Italian woman on Thursday embraced Islam at the hands of Mufti Azhar Mehmood Hazarvi in Haripur. The Italian woman, Claudia, came to Pakistan after being motivated by the online sermons and teachings of Mufti Azhar. From the Airport, Claudia went to Haripur and met with Maulana Azhar Mehmood Hazarvi. She told the Maulana that she was much impressed by the debates and teachings of the Maulana Azhar. She confessed that Islam was the righteous religion and the only way to success in life and hereafter. In the presence of witnesses, Maulana Azhar recited ‘Kalma e Shahadat’ to Claudia and later she was given her Islamic name, Kulsoom BiBi. APP
