PESHAWAR: Power transmission to TESCO 132KV Landi Kotal Grid Station has disturbed due to collapse of two 132KV towers of Jamrud-Landi Kotal transmission line due to wind storm. Electricity supply to the consumers feeding on 16 feeders emanating from 132KV Landi Kotal Grid Station has disconnected. The 11KV feeders emanating from the mentioned grid station are 11KV feeder Old Sheikh Mal Khel, New Sheikh Mal Khel, Old Sadu Khel, New Sadu Khel, Peru Khel, Fatima Khel, Mir Dad Khel, Ali Masjid, Old Khyber, New Khyber, Torkhum, Pak Army, Landi Kotal Civil Hospital, Karamna, Old Shalman, and New Shalman. The technical staff of the TESCO SS&TL division is working on rehabilitation of the transmission line towers, the requisite material has already been shifted to the site. The rehabilitation work is being supervised by Director GSO TESCO and XEN SS&TL. Supply to the consumers will be restored within two days. Chief Executive TESCO Muhammad Ikram Mirza himself visited the site and directed the concerned officers to complete the rehabilitation work on a war footing basis to restore power supply 132KV Landi Kotal grid station at the earliest.
