Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Chief Siraj-ul-Haq Friday said his petition is not against any single person but corruption and hoped the result of Panamagate scandal case will be out in favor of the nation.
Talking to media at the premises of Supreme Court of Pakistan, he said the rule of law will prevail in the society if a VIP person is sentenced, adding, “We are striving for the rule of law in the country.” “PM should be declared disqualified since he told a lie on floor of the house.” Siraj said.
If the Article 62, 63 is not enforced we can’t be a honest nation till the day of judgment, he was of the opinion. “We have full confidence over our lawyer.
He effectively gave his arguments today. Siraj hoped that his party will win the case,” he added. DNA

While talking to media outside Supreme Court on Friday after the proceedings of Panama Leaks, JI Amir Siraj said that Panama case is a corruption case and not a personal case.
All the world leaders whose name came in Panama Leaks resigned from their positions and provided evidence .
He said that in Pakistan only the poor persons are punished for committing mistake. When influential indulge in wrong doing they say that they enjoy immunity
He said when an influential is convicted then law will stand implemented practically.
“Our application is not directed against an individual but it is directed against corruption, he remarked. This war will continue as long as the rulers involved in corruption are not held accountable, he observed.
PM Nawaz Sharif has used his official authority as personal authority. He has lied in parliament. Therefore, he remained Sadiq and Amin no more, he said. He has lost legal justification to stay as PM. If articles 62 and 63 are not implemented then nation will not get an honest or sincere leader till day of Judgment .
“I hope SC will decide the case as per aspirations of people and decision will be given as soon as possible, he added.
