JUI-F has challenged election of new Chief Minister (CM) of KP Sohail Afridi in Peshawar High Court (PHC).
A petition in this regard has been filed in PHC by Lutfur Rehman. JUI parliamentary leader in KP provincial assembly through Barrister Yasin Raza. The petitioner has taken the plea how can the second chief minister be elected when the resignation of chief minister has not been accepted so far. It has been further said in the petition governor KP has directed Ali Amin Gandapur , who has resigned as CM KP to appear on October 15.
Earlier Lutfur Rehman while talking to media men said the election of CM KP has been held illegally. The resignation of previous CM has not been accepted so far. Governor has called previous CM for verification.
Lutfur Rehman said it is not known why they are in haste. The previous CM can work till the arrival of new CM. We filed our papers at the behest of speaker. But we boycotted the session. When letter of governor came then we came to know the resignation of Ali Amin Gandapur has not been accepted.
