ISLAMABAD: The matter of formation of benches between acting Chief Justice (CJ) Islamabad High Court (IHC) Sardar Sarfraz Dogar and judges has not been resolved so far. The judges have sought assistance from the lawyers. On the other side justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani raised questions on the matter of persistent changes in benches in IHC. Regarding transfer of case from single bench to division bench, Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani has given important remarks saying acting CJ has no powers to issue such order on administration side. It cannot happen so that case fixed in single bench be fixed in division bench. Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani remarked it is my principled stance no case can be transferred this way.
