Kohat: The authorities in Karak district have completed the computerization of land records for all revenue estates, with computerized revenue services for the newly digitized areas scheduled to begin on July 15. The district administration said the milestone was achieved under the directives of Deputy Commissioner Asad Sarwar and under the supervision of the Additional Deputy Commissioner (G) and Project Manager for Land Record Computerization Sahibzada Samiullah. The remaining eight revenue estates that had not previously been digitized have now been integrated into the modern land record management system, bringing the entire district under a unified computerized revenue framework. From July 15, residents of the newly computerized areas will be able to access land-related revenue services through the district’s Service Delivery Centres, allowing for faster processing, improved record security and greater transparency. The administration said completion of the digitization project would improve the accuracy, security and timely availability of land records while streamlining public access to revenue services. It described the initiative as a significant step towards strengthening governance and transparency in the revenue system, adding that reforms aimed at improving the quality and efficiency of public services would continue.
