The people of KP stand side-by-side with the Kashmiri people in their struggle for freedom
PESHAWAR
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mehmood Khan on Wednesday expressed solidarity with the Kashmiri people on the occasion of Black Day.
He said that the struggle of Kashmiri people will bear fruit soon. “Pakistan will continue to raise their voices in support of Kashmiri people under the Indian occupation until they are given the right to self-determination,” he added.
Mahmood Khan said that India would not sustain its policy of oppression for a long time and people of Kashmir would soon be liberated from the clutches of Indian forces. He said that the people of KP stand side by side with the Kashmiri people in this struggle for freedom.
In his statement regarding the Black Kashmir Day, the Chief Minister reiterated his determination to continue supporting the people of Occupied Kashmir at the moral, diplomatic and political levels and said that just as the oppressed people of Occupied Kashmir have been fighting for freedom for a long time. CM-KP maintained that the cruelty and oppression that has been unleashed on the Kashmiri people since then is highly condemnable.
He said that India is using new tactics day by day to suppress the freedom struggle of Kashmiris.The way India has besieged the Kashmiri people through unilateral and illegal measures for the last three years is a matter of concern for the entire international community, especially the United Nations and other human rights organizations. He has urged the international human rights organizations to give the Kashmiri people the right to decide their future and to ensure the proper implementation of the UN resolutions in this regard.
He said that the peaceful movement of freedom on behalf of the oppressed Kashmiris is an eternal struggle and an example of achieving human rights which cannot be suppressed under any circumstances.
He said that the manner in which former Prime Minister Imran Khan raised the issue of Kashmir in the United Nations General Assembly is unprecedented in history.
The government and people of KP are with their Kashmiri brothers and continue to support their struggle for freedom.
