The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) National Accountability Bureau (NAB) arrested an official of National Highway Authority (NHA) over charges of making assets of over 500 million rupees through illegal means and misuse of authority. The NAB KP sources said that member NHA Yousaf Ali was found involved in massive corruption and was arrested during a crackdown in the federal capital Islamabad on Thursday. The nabbed NHA member owns two kanal bungalow in Islamabad, on kanal bungalow in Hayatabad Peshawar, one kanal plot in DHA Karachi, four plots of one kanal each in Hayatabad Phase 2, several kanals of agriculture lands, property purchased in the names of relatives in district Charsadda and Haripur.
