Rescue 1122 has claimed to deal 6284 different types of emergencies across the district Khyber in the last three years report, released here on Monday.
In a report shared by the emergency officer of the Rescue department of Khyber, Syed Shoab Mansoor said that as many as 0.563 million calls had been received by the control room in which 0.556 were unnecessary and fake calls.
As per report the department dealt 3823 medical emergencies including timely provision of medical assistance to the patients of heart attack, blood pressure,paralysis etc.and transported them to nearest health center for proper treatment.
Throughout the district 991 traffic mishaps had been reported in which Rescue 1122, Khyber helped the wounded and shifted them to hospitals.
In the same way the Rescue 1122 workers responded to 241 different fire eruption incidents and provided needed relief.
Medical help and other assistance were supplied during 229 of quarrels and firing happens.
Similarly the rescuers facilitated 389 patients of covid 19 patients in addition with dealing of affectees of 14 explosion incidents.
They responded to 33 of drowning incidents and provided relief in 25 of miscellaneous occurrences in the district.
In the last three years 6111 patients were given first aid among those 173 were declared dead and the rest were shifted to various health centers.
After launching a referral service in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in 2021,out of 3713 emergencies,the Khyber Rescue 1122 shifted 3786 patients to different downtown hospitals.
Beside the rescue and relief facility, Rescue 1122,Khyber training wing imparted knowledge of first aid, fire rescuing and other emergencies to hundreds of thousands government officials, volunteers of welfare organizations, students etc.
District emergency officer said that they could further increase competency of the department and urged the masses to avoid fake phone calls to the Rescue center as it could affect efficiency of the rapidly responding workers of the Rescue 1122, Khyber.
He also stressed upon the motorists to grant way to ambulances to save precious life.
Locals appreciated the services of Rescue 1122, Khyber and said since the first day of its establishment; unmatched services are being rendered by trained Rescue workers, Khyber that has earned a good name for the department.
